  TWINS AT THE FRAT HOUSE

  CHAPTER ONE

“Kelly, get your ass over here! You’ve got to try on this dress. I know you don’t like going to these things, but you have to go tonight. It’s at Sigma Theta. Your stepbrothers will be there...”

I rolled my eyes. My roommate Julie always gave me shit about my stepbrothers. Admittedly, they were the hottest guys at Sigma. And I’d only joined the sorority so I could see them. At least Julie didn’t know that part.

“Jesus, Julie, can you ever stop talking about them?”

“Not when they look at you the way they do. I always like a little drama in my life, and girl, you’re providing me with plenty when I see you with those twins. Don’t worry. I won’t tell your mom.” I hurled my pillow across the room, hitting her squarely in the stomach. She caught it and tossed it back, still smirking.

“It’s not like that. We were best friends in high school, and now we’re all here. We stick together. Y’know. We’re all kids of divorce and that kinda thing.”

“Yeah right, Kell. I don’t know what you’re hiding, but come over here and get this dress, bitch. If you’re going to seduce them with your feminine wiles, you’ve got to look the part.” I rolled my eyes and got up from my bed, taking the dress that Julie had offered me.

“Holy fuck, this is short, Jules. How on earth do you expect my ass to fit in this thing?” The shiny black material seemed to glimmer in my hands, shifting and changing in the light. The dress itself was incredibly short. And it wasn’t the type of thing I’d normally wear. It was straight up Julie’s alley though -- sleeveless, tons of glitz, and a neckline so low I feared it wouldn’t cover my nipples.

“Now strip, and put it on. You have the curves to pull it off. And the slim little waist too.”

“Jules, this is kind of out of my comfort zone.” Even as I said it, I pulled my shirt off over my head and stepped out of my maxi skirt. I usually favored loose, flowing cotton fabrics. None of the short and shady stuff that Julie kept in her closet. It helped Julie get the guys she wanted. She had relentlessly pursued a member of the football team, and, believe it or not, he had fallen for her “feminine wiles” in pretty short order. I pulled the tight fabric over my head and down over the curves of my breasts and ass. I smoothed the dress out, feeling how tight the dress was against my skin. And damn, was it ever. I turned to my bed to grab my purse, and I felt Julie’s hands on my arms.

“Holy fuck, Kelly. Come over to the mirror and look at your damn self. You never look in the mirror. And dammit, girl, you look amazing.”

“Does it even fit?” I asked her as she dragged me over to our floor-length mirror. “It feels all weird and tight against my body.”

“Yeah, bitch, it fits,” she said, forcibly turning me toward the mirror. I gasped. She was right. It did fit. Not in the way that I normally liked things to fit, but it hugged my curves in all of the right places. It accented my round hips and ass, and the neckline, to my surprise, actually covered my nipples.

  “You weren’t kidding.”

“What? About you never looking in the mirror? Not appreciating how pretty you are? Or about the dress fitting? It definitely fits, Kelly. Accept it.”

“Fine, fine. You’re right. Now, are we ready to go.”

“Ugh, not yet. Here, put on this red lipstick, a tiny bit of blush ... some mascara...” Julie sat me down in my chair, whipping out supplies from her makeup bag. I held still, not wanting to screw everything up. I wasn’t the type of girl who ever wore makeup. Hell, I didn’t even know how I’d gotten into Kappa House sorority. Julie probably vouched for me. And if I was honest, the girls weren’t half bad. I watched Julie as she carefully applied my lipstick and mascara, her movements swift and sure.

The twins probably wanted someone like Julie. Someone who knew what she was doing. Someone who knew how to be pretty. Someone who was just not at all like me. She put the finishing touches on my blush -- some kind of glimmer powder -- and threw a pair of strappy black heels at my feet.

“Put ‘em on,” she commanded. I did as she said, not saying a word. She was the one who knew about all this shit, after all. And I had no fucking clue. I slipped my feet into the sandals, feeling like a different person than the girl who had come back from environmental ecology class this afternoon. An image of the twins came to me then... taking me into their arms like I’d always dreamed. I shook my head, trying to get the vision to go away. I cleared my throat and rose to my feet.

“Uh, these are pretty comfortable. You know what? I look good. I think I look just fine.”

“Maybe you’ll even find someone who will help you lose that v-chip.”

“I thought it was ‘v-card,’ Jules,” I said, shaking out my long dark curls. Julie loved my hair, but I didn’t see what the big deal was. It was just long and dark, and way too thick.

“It’s v-chip. Get with the times. It’s the twenty-first century, my friend.”

“Yeah, okay, whatever. Well, maybe... and then again maybe not.”

“You’re hung up on those twins, aren’t you?” She raised an eyebrow at me and handed me a thin white sweater. I absently put it on, pondering the question. I guess I hadn’t lost my virginity yet because I was waiting for the right person. And I’d always thought that right person was the twins — both of them. I’d been so ashamed of my desire for so long that I didn’t even know what was right. It was like I’d locked up my virginity and thrown away the key. I was saving it for another time. So it wasn’t exactly the twins -- it was more about being embarrassed and humiliated and knowing that I was hung up on something that I couldn’t have.

  “Hey, earth to Kelly!”

  “Hmmm?”

“I’ll take that as a ‘yes,’ Kell. Let’s get ready to go. Those boys are waiting.” I smiled at Julie. She did know me well, though I wouldn’t ever be able to tell her what I really wanted. She was on to me, but my love for the twins was something I needed to keep as hidden as I could.

Love? Is that what it is? How can you be in love with two men at the same time? It’s not done. It’s forbidden. And besides, they don’t feel the same way. E
ven if they did...

“Alright, alright. I’m ready.” I teetered on my heels a bit before I began walking, following Julie out of the sorority house and across the street to Sigma Theta. Home of my twin stepbrothers.

The early fall air was chilly and full of possibility, it seemed. Maybe one of the guys at Sigma Theta would like my dress. Maybe, I’d even lose my virginity. On a night like this, that wouldn’t be a half-bad outcome. My pussy pulsed at the thought, even growing a tiny bit slick.

Sigma Theta frat house was the biggest house on the block, all dark red brick and gorgeous, tall windows. It must have been built in the early 1900s, and it had housed most of Everman College’s finest men... the richest, the smartest, and the most talented. And that was saying something for an exclusive place like Everman. Of course the twins had only decided to rush Sigma Theta. They were the sexiest and smartest guys from my graduating class. And here I was, going to their fall formal.

Julie reached out and gripped my hand.

“Here we go,” she chirped, walking up the great stone steps and pushing her way past the hoard of freshmen girls trying to get into the closed party. She smiled sweetly as she pulled me along, her eyes scanning for the frat brother who typically served as bouncer for the parties. Julie knew everyone, and she’d made sure that we were on the list for just about every house on frat row. But Sigma Theta was her favorite -- not only because her boyfriend was a member, but also because she just loved my stepbrothers.

And giving me shit about them. I chuckled softly as the bouncer guy let us right through. He winked at me, and a tingle of excitement rose in my body as we walked into the grand old house. It was a beautiful place, filled with beautiful men.

Surely, one of them might find it in his heart to want me.

  CHAPTER TWO

“Julie!” Her boyfriend cried out and welcomed her into his arms. He was a big burly guy, his life -- and most of his brain power -- focused only on football. But he was sweet, focusing every spare moment on Julie. I sighed as she let go of my hand. It was always like this. I was the girl who got to watch my friend be happy, listen to her stories about the wild sex she had with Trey, the football king. I took my traditional place against the wall, watching the already drunk girls heading out to dance.

“Here you go, girl. Liquid courage. It’s all about getting a man tonight!” Julie dragged Trey over to me and thrust a drink into my hand. I sipped at the drink. It was some kind of punch that didn’t even taste like alcohol.

  “What is this? Grape juice?”

“Oh no, you gotta be careful with that, Kelly,” said Trey, looking at me with concern as I took a long swig. “It’s jungle juice. I’d say one cup will do you. It has vodka, rum, Everclear, like a gallon of rum... um, and I think a few bottles of Arbor Mist. Take it easy.”

“Fuck! Thanks for the heads up.” I took another sip, savoring the rush of alcohol through my system. I would sip this drink slowly, savoring it. It was sweet and cool against my tongue, and the ungodly amount of alcohol were already taking effect. My muscles loosened, and I could feel my body starting to move to the music as Trey pulled Julie out onto the dance floor. I let my thoughts roam to the twins, sipping my drink slowly. They were probably upstairs somewhere, preferring to arrive fashionably late to these types of things.

One of the frat brothers sauntered my way.

“Hey, you’re Kelly, right? Ronan and Riley’s sister?”

“Um, stepsister, but yes.” I smiled. The guy was tall and cute... nothing in the realm of the cut bodies and piercing blue eyes of my stepbrothers. Identical twins who looked like they were sculpted from marble, perfect examples of humanity. But still, this guy was alright.

“Well, you’re just as beautiful as they said. I’m Kieran.” I blushed, pulling a lock of dark hair behind my ear. The excitement rose in my body, but not from the compliment this random guy had given... Mt stepbrothers had said I was beautiful. They had even talked about me behind the sacred closed doors of their fraternity.

“Um, thanks,” I said, sipping a tiny bit more of my drink.

“They also said they’d pummel any guy that got within an inch of you. So you’ve got that going for you.”

“Oh, uh, wow. I never thought they would say anything like that.” My body tingled and pulsed, the slick wetness reaching my pussy and seeping into my panties. I looked away from the guy, searching the room for my stepbrothers.

There, there by the bar. Standing, turned away from me.

“Well, it sounds like they’re trying to prevent you from having any fun. And that’s no damn good.”

“Uh, yeah, I guess not, huh?” I looked back over to where my stepbrothers stood, each an Adonis in his own right. Among my friends in high school, only I could tell them apart. Even though they’d only been a part of my family a short time, our bond was almost instant. Ronan had a tiny scar on his right cheek, and Riley had a slightly crooked smile. To me, they were as different as night from day. But for most everyone else, they were exactly the same. I think I always saw what made them both different, both special... but also what made them two sides of the same coin. Two boys, always together. I shivered, ignoring Kieran.

“No, I don’t think it’s any good. Especially not when you’re the prettiest girl here, and I’m aching to dance with you.”

“Mmm,” I said, still staring at Riley and Ronan.

  “You hear me?”

“Oh yeah. Well, thanks. I don’t really want to dance right now.”

“You don’t huh?” Kieran leaned closer to me just as my stepbrothers turned around and saw me. My heart started to race, hot desire running through my veins. The alcohol had loosened my inhibitions, speaking to my body and making me slick and hot with need. Kieran leaned closer as I watched Riley and Ronan walking my way. Ronan, the twin who was quickest to anger, was already scowling at Kieran. I smiled at Riley, a chill coming over me as Kieran put his arm around me. He breathed in my ear, foul alcoholic breath letting me know that he’d had a little bit too much jungle juice so far tonight. The smell seeped out of his pores, and I tried to push him away.

“You don’t want to dance?” he continued, his voice increasing in volume. “Then why did you come here dressed like a little slut?” Suddenly, I snapped out of my reverie, quickly turning to face the drunk frat boy.

“What did you call me, you ignorant piece of trash?” I launched my drink at the boy’s face, blinding him for a second before Ronan rushed him and pushed him against the wall. Riley came to my side and drew me into a hug.

“Ronan, don’t hurt him... He’s drunk,” I said, touching my stepbrother on the shoulder. A shock ran through me... I was connected to both of them at the same time. This was maybe the first time in years that I had touched both of them at once. And now I remembered the incredible rush it gave me.

“What did you say to my stepsister?” Ronan growled, holding Kieran by the throat. The drunk frat boy blinked a few times, slushy jungle juice still running down his face.

“Nothing man, honest,” he gurgled. His voice sounded rusty and unsure.

“Then, leave her the fuck alone. I’d beat the shit out of you -- and so would Riley -- if she weren’t standing right here.”

“You look beautiful, Kelly,” said Riley, leaning into me. Ronan shoved Kieran against the wall once more. The drunk and soaked Kieran fell to the sticky frat house floor.

“Come on Kell,” said Ronan. “I’m done with this scene. Let’s go upstairs.” Riley put his arm through mine and led me upstairs to the room the two boys shared. I swayed a bit on my heels, sustained by Riley’s strong arms.

“I’m shaken,” Ronan said, still visibly angry. He punched the pillow on his bed. “That douchebag knew that he should touch Kelly. She’s our stepsister, and we say what goes around here.”

“Hey Ronan,” Riley said, sitting me down on his bed. “Ultimately, it’s Kelly’s decision what she does. She doesn’t have any obligation to follow what we want for her...” R
iley’s voice trailed off. He sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulder. My whole body lit up like a Christmas tree, exploding with sensation. Riley was touching me. And it was all I’d ever wanted, all I’d ever dreamed of.
